Cultural Resources Management
Our cultural resources team has over half a century of collective experience in surveying, assessment, and research. Our surveys and investigations have addressed land development, infrastructure replacement and expansion, and interpretation and preservation programs covering multiple jurisdictions and institutions.
Our current work commonly entails archival and physical investigations of land units for the purpose of avoiding or mitigating project impacts. Cultural resource sites investigated by our team range in age from 13,500 years to the 20th century. We pride ourselves in keeping fully abreast of responsible agency regulations and policies, further assuring that the most expeditious and economical means of compliance is achieved.
The ENPLAN cultural resources team includes principal investigators, archaeologists, archaeological technicians, architectural historians, historians, and archivists. To undertake intensive excavations or projects covering large geographic areas, we maintain relationships with independent cultural resource management specialists throughout northern California to ensure that all projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
